When I got this sleeping bag I loved that it came with a compression sack and that it could squeeze down into such a small package. Great for backpacking and super light weight.

Not so great for backpacking in cooler weather. We went on a 3-night trip this past weekend (October) and even with a sleeping bag liner (I purchased separately) I froze the first night. During the day temps were around 45, night time temp was probably right around 30.

The next 2 nights I brought a nalgene bottle full of boiling water to bed and covered the top of my sleeping bag with extra clothing to keep me warm, this helped a lot.

I think this bag will be great for summer backpacking but fall, spring, and winter I will need to get a much warmer bag for.
